Event & Space Management Guidelines
Aldrich Hall, a state-funded public building, serves as a shared space for numerous campus departments. The day-to-day maintenance and operation of the building are overseen by Facilities Management. This page aims to offer guidance on utilizing the public space within the building and provides information about regular events. Some examples of these events include:
- Display of Research Posters (mid-May to mid-June): the second floor lobby becomes a gallery space for the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. These posters celebrate the research completed by UC Irvine students.
- Run for a Claus (December): Organized by Student Event Services, this public event utilizes building elevators to provide accessible access for participants. This UC Irvine tradition is part of the OC Marathon.
Please note that special events occasionally take place within the building, and utmost care is taken to coordinate them with the occupants to minimize disruptions to regular building activities.
